1、 Types of drying equipment used in oil plants at present(1) Plate dryer
1. The principle of ordinary plate dryer is to dry materials by moving and heating two or more layers of plates. Its mode belongs to conductive drying. Its advantages are stable daily operation, low consumption, average heating of materials, less powder, simple and safe process, low failure probability and low cost. Its disadvantages are that the equipment volume is too large, the corresponding plant investment is high, and the drying effect is not good for materials with high moisture content.
2. The structure of steam far-infrared hot plate dryer is similar to that of ordinary plate dryer. The difference is that there is a layer of far-infrared paint on the lower surface of the plate. That is to say, in the process of heating, the materials from the first layer to the second layer will be received by the upper and lower layers of heating plates to dry them. It can accelerate drying and save energy obviously.
(2) Belt dryer
The main structure of belt dryer is steel mesh conveyor belt and hot air system. After entering the drying chamber, the material moves along with the conveyor belt
In the process of moving, it is dried by hot air. Its advantages are flexible operation, wide application range, small occupation, average heat exchange, high efficiency and good quality. (3) Fixed bed dryer
The working principle of the machine is that the transmission chain carries the material moving. In the process of moving, the material is heated and removed by heated dry air
At present, the fixed bed dryer is divided into single-layer and double-layer fixed bed dryer: the single-layer fixed bed dryer currently mostly uses the peeling process of soybean; and the double-layer fixed bed dryer has a strong dehydration capacity, so in addition to drying materials, it also has certain advantages in cooling.
(4) Rotary dryer
1. Horizontal rotary cylinder dryer. The machine is composed of rotating drum, supporting wheel, transmission, frame, heating device, feeding and discharging device, etc. at present, it is divided into single type and compound type. The difference is that the compound type has cooling cylinder besides heating cylinder. Its working principle is that the material in the rotating cylinder is constantly carried to a certain height by the inner wall and then dropped, and the material is dried by hot wall and hot air in the whole process. The machine has the characteristics of stable performance, simple structure and low energy consumption, and has been widely used.
2. Far infrared rotary dryer. The difference between the far-infrared radiation dryer and the far-infrared radiator dryer is basically the same. Its working principle is basically the same as horizontal, but in the process of material falling, the main body of heating is infrared radiation, and selective heating will be carried out. This machine has the advantages of high heating speed and uniformity, small damage to materials and so on.
(5) Tower dryer
1. Forward flow tower dryer. The whole machine is of building block structure. From top to bottom are the storage section, heating and cooling section, cooling section and discharging section. The advantages of the machine are good quality and average precipitation, but it also has the disadvantages of large energy consumption and general drying speed.
2. Counter flow tower dryer. The structure of the machine is the same as that of the downstream dryer, but the flow direction of the material is not consistent with the hot gas direction. This machine has the advantages of high heat utilization rate, but it has the disadvantages of low precipitation rate and limited efficiency.
3. Cross flow tower dryer. When the machine works, the material flow direction is perpendicular to or intersects with the direction of hot air. The machine has the advantages of fast drying, less energy consumption and convenient maintenance, but the precipitation uniformity is poor and the blockage is easy to occur
2、 Development trend of oil drying equipment
(1) Adsorption drying. The so-called adsorption drying is to mix the adsorbent and soybean in a certain proportion, pour it into the conical fluidized bed drying chamber, and use air as the drying medium. So far, the results show that this method can effectively increase the uniformity of drying, and can shorten the drying time, and the main component of the adsorbent is silica gel, which will not affect the drying rate.
(2) Vacuum drying. At present, belt dryer and vibration flow dryer are widely used, and tower continuous drying equipment is a new invention in recent years, which has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection. And this machine has been applied in the drying of corn and peanut.
(3) Microwave drying. Microwave drying is one of the more popular methods in recent years, because microwave is a new energy, compared with other drying methods, it has the characteristics of high efficiency, saving time, less pollution, automation and so on. (4) Heat pump drying. The principle of heat pump drying machine is the same as that of refrigeration equipment, which works according to the principle of heat engine cycle.
