DESCRIPTION
DW Series Single-Layer / Multi-Layer Mesh Belt Dryer are continuous cross-flow drying equipment for large-scale production of low drying rate materials. The equipment is designed with a compact structure which required small installation area.
The raw material can be spread on the conveyor belt through suitable mechanism such as star distributor, vibrating belt, grinder or granulator. The conveyor belt will pass the channel that consist one or several drying units. Each drying unit is equipped with air heating and circulating system, and each drying unit has one or several dehumidification system. The hot air will move up and down when the conveyor belt passes though.
FEATURES
1) Air quantity, heating temperature, materials staying time and feeding speed can be adjusted in order to improve drying quality.
2) The equipment configuration is flexible. The mesh belt washing system and materials cooling system are available to use.
3) Most of the hot air is reused to realize energy saving.
4) The machine is equipped with unique air distributor; it distributes the hot air to the dryer and ensured the quality of products is constant.
5) The heat source can use steam, thermal oil, electricity, coal (oil), or hot air furnace.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The material
is distributed to the mesh belt evenly by the feeder. The size of stainless
steel mesh is 12-16mm mesh. The transmission device will moves the mesh belt around
the dryer. The dryer consist a several drying units and each unit has
individual hot air circulation system. Part of the exhausted gas is exhausted
by an exhaust fan. The waste gas is controlled by an adjusting valve. The hot
air will move up and down when the material moving from the top layer to the
bottom layer. This process will evaporate the water from the material when the
mesh belt moves slowly. The running speed of the conveyer belt can be adjusted
according to the material property. The dried material will be automatically
discharged to a collector. The circulation units can be equipped according to
the user’s requirement and the production demands.

APPLICATION
The Mesh belt dryer is widely used for chemical industry, foodstuff industry, pharmaceutical industry, construction industry, electronic industry and so on. This dryer is especially suitable for drying the materials that have a good breathability and shaped as pieces, strips, or granules. It is also applicable to dry the pasted materials such as filter cake after shaped by granulator or extruder.
