Principle of pigment dryer:
When the material is scattered and moved to the movable grate wing plate, the material is mixed with the preheated grate wing plate to transfer heat to the material and make part of the water evaporate. At the same time, the material carried by the wing plate is lifted and scattered, repeated for many times, and the material and hot air flow carry out convection and contact heat exchange. At the same time, the cleaning device buried in the material also slides along the inner side of the arc-shaped lifting plate to clean the materials adhered to the inner wall of the lifting plate. When the cleaning device turns the vertical line with the cylinder body, it drags on the back of the arc lifting plate to clean the materials adhered to the outer wall of the lifting plate. With the continuous rotation of the cylinder, part of the water evaporates and the pigment is further dried.
Structure of paddle dryer:
1、 A heating jacket is set on the cylinder for loading materials, and an insulating layer is set outside the jacket to prevent heat from diffusing to the environment and reduce heat loss; the lower part of the cylinder is provided with a discharge port, and the upper part is provided with two feeding ports and an exhaust port. When feeding, the same amount should be added from the two feeding ports at the same time; the best feeding amount should be 60% - 80% of the volume, and most of it should not exceed 80% of the volume, otherwise the evaporation gas will be affected When the viscosity of the loaded material is very strong, the feeding amount should be appropriately reduced to prevent overload of the drive motor and damage to the equipment.
2. The central part of the cylinder body is provided with a hollow transmission shaft, and the shaft is filled with heating medium (heat-conducting oil or hot water).
3. The blades are arranged on the hollow transmission shaft according to a certain angle. The blades are of hollow heat transfer type. The passage of heat transfer oil is set inside the blade to keep the heat transfer effective in the whole drying process.
4. Seal: packing seal is used between shaft and cylinder.
5. Transmission: in addition to special specifications, the equipment generally adopts chain or gear transmission; the fulcrum bearing adopts the double bearing form of tapered roller bearing and deep groove ball bearing, meeting the requirements of radial and axial force.
Energy saving measures of pigment paddle dryer:
1. It is the goal of every dryer manufacturer to make great use of heat energy for drying operation. There are four ways to realize the energy saving of dryer, one of which is to reduce the heat loss of each link in the drying process. Heat loss is used to reduce the heat loss of a certain amount of heat in a drying operation.
2. Reducing the evaporation load of the dryer is the second way to improve the drying efficiency. Before the materials enter the dryer, pre dehydration treatment such as filtration, centrifugal separation or evaporation of the evaporator can increase the solid content in the materials and reduce the evaporation load of the dryer, which is one of the effective ways to save energy for drying equipment. Pretreatment before drying can also save energy, because air heating is used in heating materials in a convection dryer, while preheating is using latent heat or waste heat of water vapor, which is conducive to atomization and drying.
