Production steps: the first step is to produce polymer emulsion by emulsion polymerization. The second step is to spray the polymer mixture prepared by spray drying to obtain polymer powder.

Drying process: the prepared polymer emulsion is transported to the spray dryer by screw pump, the temperature at the inlet of the dryer is generally 100~200 C, and the outlet is generally 60~80 C. As the spray drying occurs within a few seconds, the distribution of particles is frozen. The protective colloid acts as an isolated particle, thus preventing the irreversible coalescence between polymer particles. In order to prevent the agglomeration of redispersible rubber powder in transportation and storage, anti caking agents should also be added in spray drying process.
