Parameters and requirements provided by customers
1. Material name: vitamin series
2. Initial content (solvent content): 20-30%
3. Initial moisture: < 3%
4. Solvent: methanol
5. Yield: 300kg / h
6. Heat source: 80 ° C hot water
7. Drying method: disc drying
8. Dust removal method: bag filter
9. Equipment material: SUS304 material is used for the whole equipment
Precautions for selection of disc dryer:
1. Whether the material to be dried is suitable for drying with disc dryer: whether the material state is loose; whether the material is scab in the drying process of the disc dryer; whether the dried material is allowed to have a long residence time; whether the material is allowed to remain;
2. If the material is suitable for drying with a disc dryer, then what heat source can be used as heating method. One of the heat sources is to consider the temperature resistance of the material itself. If a variety of heat sources are available, the actual situation of the user company should be considered. Common heat sources include steam, heat transfer oil, hot water, molten salt and hot air.
3. Whether the drying materials need cooling. If cooling is required, the number of cooling plates required can be designed according to the calculation or an additional disc dryer for cooling can be added.
4. When selecting the type of disc dryer, it is necessary to select atmospheric type disc dryer, closed type disc dryer and vacuum type disc dryer according to the properties of materials and solvents to be dried.
5. If the material has special requirements for residence time, and the residence time is very long or short, special design should be adopted in the design process of disc dryer to meet the requirements of residence time.
6. The problem of material of disc dryer. The material of equipment should be considered from the requirements of material itself and primary investment. Commonly used materials are carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, 304L stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, 2205 stainless steel, titanium material, etc.
