Case overview: SiC drying production line is a new type of high efficiency fluidization drying equipment developed by our company to overcome the low efficiency and high consumption of static drying. In the design process, the machine fully combines the characteristics of air flow drying and other fluid drying, makes the whole machine have reasonable process structure and superior performance, and truly realizes the goal of low consumption and high efficiency of fluidization drying.

Project Overview:

Silicon carbide (SIC) is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), sawdust as raw materials through high temperature smelting in resistance furnace. Silicon carbide is also a rare mineral in nature, mosangite. Silicon carbide is also known as carborundum. Silicon carbide is widely used and economically used in C, N, B and other non oxide high-tech refractory materials. It can be called steel sand or refractory sand. At present, silicon carbide produced in China is divided into black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide, both of which are hexagonal crystals with specific gravity of 3.20-3.25 and microhardness of 2840-3320kg / mm2.

Equipment Overview:

 SiC drying production line is a new efficient fluidized drying equipment developed by our company to overcome the low efficiency and high consumption of static drying. In the design process, the machine fully combines the characteristics of air flow drying and other fluid drying, makes the whole machine have reasonable process structure and superior performance, and truly realizes the goal of low consumption and high efficiency of fluidization drying.

This machine has a wide range of applications. It can be used for drying silicon carbide, black silicon carbide, green carbon silicon, black carbon silicon powder, green silicon carbide powder, foam ceramic silicon carbide, refractory silicon carbide and so on. The equipment has high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small floor area, simple configuration and convenient operation and control.

working principle:

Hot air enters the mixing and crushing drying room from the bottom of the dryer at an appropriate spouting speed from the air inlet. It has strong shearing, blowing and rotating effects on the materials. Therefore, the materials are granulated by centrifugation, shearing, collision and friction, thus strengthening the mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, larger and wetter particles are mechanically broken under the action of the agitator. The particles with lower moisture content and smaller particle size are entrained and lifted by the rotating air flow. During the rising process, the gas-solid phase flows in a rotating way, the inertia of the solid phase is greater than that of the gas phase, and the relative velocity of the solid and gas phases is relatively large, so the heat transfer effect between the two phases is enhanced, so the drying of the machine is strong High degree.

Engineering advantages:

1. It has strong specialty, large processing capacity and fast drying rate. The surface area of material liquid is greatly increased after atomization, and the drying time is greatly reduced in vacuum state. 2. The equipment has simple structure, no wearing parts and low maintenance cost. 3. The operation is simple and stable, the control is convenient, and the intelligent operation can be realized. 4. Using different boiling point temperature, liquid-liquid separation can be realized. 5. The atomizer with special non-standard design has good atomization and separation effect. 6. Chemical reaction and drying are integrated to complete reaction and drying at one time to optimize equipment performance.
