Principle of DF special dry spray dryer for dry suspensions
The air enters the air distributor at the top of the drying tower through the filter and heater, and then enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral shape. The material liquid is pumped to the centrifugal atomizer on the top of the drying tower by the material tank through the filter, so that the material liquid is sprayed into a very small mist droplet. The material liquid contacts with the hot air in parallel flow, and the water evaporates rapidly, and it is dried into the finished product in a very short time. The finished product is discharged from the bottom of drying tower and cyclone separator, and the waste gas is discharged by fan. The powder is collected by the pollinator at the lower end of the cyclone separator. The fan outlet can also be equipped with a secondary dust removal device, and the recovery rate can reach 96-98%.

Possible problems in production, causes and remedial measures:
1. Serious wall sticking phenomenon: there are sticky wet powder everywhere in the drying room.
The reasons are: (1) the feed volume is too large to fully evaporate; (2) the drying chamber is not heated enough before the start of the spray; (3) when the spray is started, the cutting flow rate is too large; (4) the liquid material added is unstable.
In view of the different causes of the above problems, the following measures can be taken in order to reduce the feed volume appropriately, appropriately increase the inlet and outlet temperature of the hot air, increase the flow rate at the beginning of the spray and gradually increase it to the appropriate time; check whether the pipeline is clogged, adjust the solid content of the material, and ensure the fluidity of the liquid.
2. The moisture content of the product is too high
Exhaust air temperature is the main factor affecting the moisture content of finished products, so the reason why the moisture content of products is too high is that the exhaust air temperature is too low. The exhaust temperature can be adjusted by the feed rate. Therefore, the corresponding measures are to reduce the feed rate appropriately to improve the exhaust temperature.
3. The purity of the product is low and there are too many impurities
The possible reasons for this situation are as follows: (1) the air filtration effect is not good; (2) the accumulated powder is mixed into the finished product; (3) the purity of raw materials is not high; (4) the equipment is not cleaned thoroughly. The remedial measures that can be adopted are: check whether the filter material in the air filter is evenly laid, whether the filter has been used for too long, and if it should be replaced immediately; check the coke powder at the hot air inlet to overcome the eddy current; filter the material liquid before spraying; and clean the equipment again.
4. The product powder is too fine. The reason is that the solid content is too low or the feed content is too small. The remedial measures are to increase the solid content of the feed liquid, increase the feed volume and increase the inlet air temperature.
5.The excessive loss of powder loss greatly affects the yield of finished products. The general reason is the poor separation effect of cyclone separator. If this happens, check whether the cyclone separator is deformed due to knocking and collision; improve the air tightness of the inlet and outlet of the cyclone separator; check whether the inner wall and outlet of the cyclone separator are blocked by accumulated materials. Of course, the separation efficiency is also related to the specific gravity and particle size of the powder.
6. The rotating speed of centrifugal nozzle is too low
The main reason is that the parts of the centrifugal nozzle are out of order, so stop using the nozzle and check the internal parts of the nozzle.
Evaporation is too low
The reasons may be as follows: (1) the air volume of the whole system is reduced; (2) the inlet temperature of hot air is low; (3) the equipment has air leakage, and cold air enters the drying chamber. The remedial measures are as follows: (1) check whether the speed of the centrifuge is normal; (2) check whether the position of the regulating valve of the centrifuge is correct; (3) check whether the pipes of the air filter and air heater are blocked; (4) check whether the grid voltage is normal; (5) check whether the electric heater works normally; (6) check whether the connection of the components of the equipment is sealed.
8. There is noise or vibration when the centrifugal nozzle is running
Mainly due to improper cleaning and maintenance of the nozzle, residual substances in the spray tray or bending and deformation of the main shaft may also be caused by poor dynamic balance of the centrifugal disk. Solution; check whether there is any residual substance in the spray tray, if necessary, clean it in time; find abnormal spindle; replace it; re adjust or replace the dynamic balance of the centrifugal disc.
